Quick Reflection About The Perfect Breakfast
When we are asleep, we may not notice, but our body consumes a lot of energy to maintain it’s vital functions. Although our minds are not totally functional, the heart still beats, we still breathe and our cells continue to consume energy. Thus, breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day.
The perfect breakfast should be around carbon hydrates which are present in foods like bread, cereal and oat meals, for example. The carbon hydrates are the best way for the body to gain energy, thus eating cereal based foods will help regain the energy lost during the sleeping time.
Milk should be highly considered as well, as it is rich in energetic nutrients and, most importantly, in proteins. The structural part of the cell is mainly composed by proteins, so they are important for cell regeneration, which is important for practically anytime of the day.
Last but not least, fruit should also be included as it is a source of important vitamins that prevent all sorts of diseases. Take the example of the orange. Oranges and other citrus foods have a lot of vitamin C, which prevents a very serious condition called scurvy. Vitamins are also important to strengthen the immunitary system and to regulate certain body functions.
In conclusion, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but like everything, there are some better than others. Avoiding plain sugar filled foods and choosing energetic and vitamin rich items will surely increase the health of the individual and lead to a better life.
