A pintura retrata um espa\u00e7o subterr\u00e2neo (inferno) com uma abertura por onde caem as almas.\u00a0
As almas condenadas s\u00e3o castigadas por dem\u00f3nios pelos pecados que cometeram, os sete pecados mortais.\u00a0
<\/span>Ao centro, dentro de um caldeir\u00e3o, sofrem almas pecadoras ladeadas de um trono onde se senta o mais importante dos dem\u00f3nios.\u00a0
<\/span>Esta pintura cont\u00e9m uma iconografia na representa\u00e7\u00e3o dos sete pecados mortais que ao diaboliz\u00e1-los nos permite estabelecer pontes com \u00e9pocas posteriores.
<\/span>(Esta pintura, cuja afinidade com a obra de Gil Vicente tem sido assinalada por v\u00e1rios historiadores, foi j\u00e1 atribu\u00edda a Jorge Afonso e\/ou ao Mestre da Lourinh\u00e3. Se h\u00e1 estudiosos que apontam o in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo como a data mais prov\u00e1vel para a sua realiza\u00e7\u00e3o (cf. Dagoberto Markl in cat\u00e1logo da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Gr\u00e3o Vasco e a Pintura do Renascimento), outros defendem os anos trinta de Quinhentos)<\/span><\/p>

The image shows an underground space (Hell) with an opening through which the Souls fall down.<\/span>The Condemned Souls are punished by Demons for their sins, The seven Deadly Sins.
<\/span>In the Center, inside a bowl, the sinner souls suffer and they are supervisioned by the most powerful of Demons.
<\/span>This Painting contains an iconography of the seven deadly sins, its diabolic expression allows us to establish bridges with posterior currents.
<\/span>This Painting, has an affinity with the plot of the Portuguese XVI Century Dramaturg Gil Vicente\u2019s \u201cAuto da Barca do Inferno\u201d as some History critics have pointed out, it has been attributed to Jorge Afonso or Master of Lourinh\u00e3.
